Boss Talk’s #LoveYourInnerBoss Campaign

February 28, 2019

With February being the month of “love,” North designed a campaign to encourage members of the Boss Talk community to celebrate themselves and their amazing accomplishments. Through the #LoveYourInnerBoss Campaign, women in our community wrote a Valentine to themselves and shared them on social media to show the world a little more of the #selflove that we encourage our Boss Ladies to embrace every day.

As the month and the campaign comes to a close, we want to share a collection of some of our favorite Valentines that made their way to us throughout the campaign, beginning with our very own North team!

CEO and #BossLady Allison North Jones reminds us that “Your dreams are big but you never stop fighting and never should! Dream big, reach for the rainbows – you’ll find your pot of gold!!!”

Regardless of who you are or what you’re doing, #TheDelegator Melissa West reminds us “You are enough.”

Vice President of Policy & Advocacy Programs, Megan Branham encourages us to “Be kind. Be brave. You’ve got this!”

#SociallyAlexis used her Valentine to share all of the things that make her a Boss Lady!

“No one is you, and that is your superpower,” #MacyManaged shares.

#MakingMandyMoves celebrates herself and the moves she’s made this past year: “For a year of being (mostly) fearless and trusting yourself! Take chances, make mistakes, get messy!!

Harper thanked herself for “dreaming big and achieving your goals.” Keep dreaming big, Harper!

Katharine shared an inspiring message for her current and future Boss self, saying “I am the future of Child Welfare & Policy.”

Leanne reminds herself and the Boss Talk community to remember that “You are the only person you need to be good enough for.”

Check out these Valentines from some of our former Boss Talk panelists!

Breaking Barriers panelist Rachic Glover celebrated her Inner Boss with the message, “Lady, you never cease to amaze me! KEEP SHINING!”

Molly Hand from our inaugural “Let’s Talk” reminded Boss Ladies to, “Be as kind to yourself as you are to your friends and loved ones.”

Reneé Moss, also from “Let’s Talk,” encouraged herself to “Speak up. Truthfully. Mindfully. From the heart. But also listen”

Carrie Litherland of “Leading Ladies” shared this inspiring message on self-love, “Even if it makes others uncomfortable, I will LOVE who I am.”

Another “Leading Lady” Melissa Sellers celebrated her Inner boss with the verse (1 Cor. 8:3) “You are fully known and fully loved. What could be better?”

Along with former panelists and the North team, we received many other submissions for our #LoveYourInnerBoss Campaign. Here are some honorable mentions from the Boss Talk community! Thank you to every single person that participated. We loved seeing your messages and hope that the campaign reminds you to love yourself and the women around you. Keep living your authentic #BossLady life!
