Boss Talk Blog- Ep4: Being Loud, Strong And Authentic Women, And What To Do When People Don’t Like It.

We are seeing more and more women taking to the forefront of today’s activism efforts on both sides of the table; women who are strong, loud, commanding and bossy. These women are making their voices heard and making progress for their causes. But we can tell you, these women are also being pushed back on. They are being put down by men and others for being aggressive and defensive, they are being called bitchy and told to calm down.

How do we, as women, react to that? Do we quiet down, do we play nice, or do we push past the criticism and continue to be true to ourselves?

On the latest episode of Squad Pod, Melissa and Allison dive into these questions and hopefully find some answers.

Answers like, “I’m ok with being called a bitch as long as I’m being my best bitch self!” And “See showing emotions not as a weakness but as strength.”
